Thai Intermezzo

The boys and I just got back from a mini-break in Thailand to see Oma and Opa who are on holiday there. It’s been two years since we saw my parents and the fact that they were in Thailand made a reunion easier (and less costly in terms of airfares!). The week went by very fast but we all enjoyed the intense time together. Thailand was warm and wonderful with friendly locals and great food. I already look forward to sail there and explore the coastline with Rehua. It was sad to say goodbye again but I left happy and fulfilled. Coming back to Auckland was a bit like returning home because it’s where our base is until the end of hurricane season and of course Rehua is our home wherever she is. While we were away Seathan got on with lots of boatjobs and we’re ready to start exploring the South Island very soon …
